Job Hunt Follies

My journey through Graduate School to earn a Masters of Art in Education. I was on track to become a teacher, but now everything has changed, and I'm on the job hunt with a Bachelor's in Liberal Arts and a Master's in Education with no teaching certificate.

I really haven't been keeping up with this blog. I'm running out of time every day to work on a diary. One of the toughest things I've had to do is train myself to become more methodical and I tend towards being a scatterbrain. I juggle so many options in my head that me lesson plans come out garbled. I've written a sequence of questions that should help me write a more focused lesson plan.

I also got some help from one of my profs and she gave me a copy of her lesson plan scoring rubrics, and I spoke with one of the supervisors and he threw a lot of information at me about how to do lesson plans.

I am working on three lesson plans tonight, and I have to continue to work on my two week Work Sample unit, and also work on my research paper, which is also a bit ill-defined. I should hear about a placement with my PLA this week, and if I can get in touch with my PLA CT I can get a clearer picture of where I'll be and what I can actually research.

ugh.
