Job Hunt Follies

My journey through Graduate School to earn a Masters of Art in Education. I was on track to become a teacher, but now everything has changed, and I'm on the job hunt with a Bachelor's in Liberal Arts and a Master's in Education with no teaching certificate.

Job Hunt Follies

I'm afraid to find work. I'm not afraid of having a job, but I'm afraid of getting a job. It's been six or seven weeks since I graduated and today I actually sent my first resume and cover letter to a K-8 Catholic school looking for a part time computer support person. I feel good about my resume, and I feel good about the letter I wrote. Hopefully getting a suit and a haircut will also feel good. Yesterday I made two phone calls. One to this school and another to a public school district. The public school district is already in the first round of interviews. I was told to call back on Monday to see if the position had been filled. I'll call back on Monday.
