Job Hunt Follies

My journey through Graduate School to earn a Masters of Art in Education. I was on track to become a teacher, but now everything has changed, and I'm on the job hunt with a Bachelor's in Liberal Arts and a Master's in Education with no teaching certificate.

First Rejection Letter

Stephanie and I left for a friends wedding in Denver, which is a two day drive and 1200 miles. As we left our apartment we picked up our mail to discover that I got my first rejection letter. It was a simple form letter that basically said "You didn't impress us."

I'm sorely tempted to go sign up at a temp agency again, but I'm sure I'll end up hauling heavy boxes around a warehouse at 4:30 in the morning like I always get with temp agencies. I now have a Masters degree, and I might as well go back to delivering pizzas.
